What is V2ray ?

Project V has a part called V2Ray that is in charge of network protocols and communication. It is similar to the proxy software Shadowsocks in some ways, but it is more of a platform. Any developer can use the modules that are provided to make new proxy software.

V2Ray and its VMess protocol

were made to improve Shadowsocks' performance and features and to help avoid being found. When you deploy V2Ray, you can change the port on the fly, access advanced routing features, use obfuscation techniques, chain proxies, and more. This makes V2Ray more complicated than single proxy protocols like Shadowsocks, but it also means it can be used in more niche configurations and situations.

V2Ray Protocols

V2ray, unlike Shadowsocks, supports many protocols, both coming in and going out. As we've already said, VMess is the most important one because it lets you use an inbound and outbound proxy for encrypted communications. But there are also the following things to think about:

The VPN V2Ray (VMess) uses a new type of protocol. The VMess protocol is a way to send data that is encrypted.
